These Chocolate Chip Baked Oats are the perfect excuse to have a quick dessert at any time of the day. Plus, it’s loaded with protein and fiber – two things that kids often don’t get enough of!
I also love that this recipe is extremely interchangeable. The basic ingredients of banana, oats, protein powder, baking powder, and milk will stay the same. But after that – feel free to add any ingredients you or your child prefers. Pumpkin spice, peanut butter, dried fruit…whatever you have in the pantry!
This recipe comes together all in one blender or nutribullet, which means minimal clean up! Because these baked oats are so simple, I really encourage you to include your kids in the preparation process.
Whether they are helping you measure the oats or cinnamon or just getting to press the blender button – involving kids in cooking almost always leads to a more open-minded eater.
